Before Area-51 existed, there was Texan Howard Hughes: the once
flamboyant, eventually reclusive lanky genius, that helped change aviation,
space exploration, the oil business, the film industry and the Las Vegas gaming
empires. He was also one of the U.S. military's biggest defense contactors and
eventually became intimately involved with the U.S. military's
investigation—and
sometimes outright battles—with
flying saucers.
